Bikes keep NYC rolling through hard times

From 9/11 to COVID-19, New Yorkers have used cycling to keep the city moving, build resilience, and help each other when we needed it most

There was a 500 percent increase in cycling during the 2005 Transit Strike.
Occupy Sandy used bikes to deliver medical care to affected communities.
Giant, Recycle-A-Bicycle, and TA teamed up to bring 100 bikes to people in need.
During the strike, TA was a resource for cyclists.
